
Past-it pizza or pasta ploy?

Pizza Hut has hit the headlines with news that it will soon be rebranding to Pasta Hut. Many people are sceptical, and Branwell Johnson, madcomments, sees it as a clever marketing ploy.
However, Pizza Hut’s chief executive Alasdair Murdoch was quoted in the FT as citing the rebrand to be an entirely genuine move to better reflect the nutritional changes to its menu, attracting new customers to the restaurant chain.
