royalmailap_468x338.jpgThis week Royal Mail unveiled Clear Prospects, an online tool designed to help SMEs create business growth from their existing customer databases.

The web-based service allows businesses to improve the accuracy of their data by enhancing their records. This boosts the overall effectiveness of direct mail campaigns and helps  track lost customers.

Clear Prospects gives businesses the prospecting option, which allows them to buy data from 5p per consumer or 11p per business record. Also businesses that visit the website can register for a free audit, with the Royal Mail offering two records for the price of one until August 31st, on a minimum order of £10.

Keith Jones, Head of Strategy at Royal Mail, says that solutions like Clear Prospects simplify and speed up the campaign process, putting the data in the hands of users.

He adds that Royal Mail is committed to developing a wide range of data solutions to help businesses get the most from their direct marketing campaigns and help them know their customers more effectively.

Direct mail is an extremely powerful channel to return and recruit customers, as well as underpinning growth.
